The information is collected primarily for the purposes of enabling Cover The Gap to update and maintain a valid marketing and communications database in order to facilitate the transactional processes between Cover The Gap and the client.
By submitting the information, you hereby confirm the following;
• The information is accurate and complete.
• You have obtained the required consent in order to furnish Cover The Gap with any personal information of which the designated participant is not the sole beneficial owner.
Cover The Gap is entitled to process/ and or disclose the personal information if such processing and/ or disclosure is required in order to comply with any applicable law, subpoena, order of the court or legal process served on Cover The Gap, or to protect and defend its right or property.
Cover The Gap will process and or use the personal information as permitted by the POPI Act.
Please note: The policy schedule issued to all members has preference over all advice rendered. It is highly recommended that policy holders carefully read the underwriting criteria, terms and exclusions pertaining to their specific policy to avoid any confusion at a claim stage. Suppliers can amend such terms with a notice of 30 days, particularly in January of every year.
Gap providers rely primarily on email communication to update members on policy changes and admin/claim/procedure updates. It’s therefore the member’s responsibility to ensure this channel of communication is current, open and accessible in order to receive such correspondence.
Rob Mitchell Brokers and it’s staff cannot be held responsible for any claim disputes where providers have updated terms after the initial point of any advice/recommendations/suggestions rendered.
